Old Man Time

OLD MAN TIME I am time, Who are you? Do you know me? Or maybe fear me? I’ve made you, Have I given you A clue? I am ageless, I am timeless, I can heal, If not respected, I can steal, Your years away, And take them To another realm. Learn to feel, I am strong, If you want, Can also make You strong For I am good, Not wrong. I am healing, And revealing, I can be angered, Don’t cheat on me, For if you do, I’ll no longer Be your anchor, I love all Remember that, Don’t stall, Love me back Move towards me Let your soul be light, Not black! Have you guessed Who I am, I’m Old Man Time And you are mine, Together we make history, I do not need To be a mystery, Just accept time, Use it wisely, I respect you highly, I expect the same, From you, One day each of Us will get what’s due, I ask you from, A timeless heart, Let today be your start.

Fan-flippen-tastic (Kim word). Excellent poem Jenny, I really enjoyed it. We don't appreaciate every minute of everyday like we should. The is such a true saying "Live today like it was your last". If we all lived like this we would enjoy our time on earth and not stress all the time. (Another going onto my Favourite List). Kim

But we all have responsibilities which takes time, we work which takes time, we organize our homes which takes time, we travel to a fro every day and a multitude of other things BUT that is what I say in the poem, we must re-organize our lives and make more time, if not what will become of us? xoxo Jennifer

Hi Cay Cay, Reminds me of Reports that my Mom wrote up - she was a nursery school teacher and I remember she always used to give her best pupils a special comment on their term end reports - I remember my dad sitting with her and helping her -"He/she has a healthy imagination at play" we must have started with our healthy imagination from a very young age, it is grand! xoxo, Jennifer.

Hi Tom, We are always racing time, there doesn't seem to be enough hours in our day, but our heat this summer is certainly going to slow us down a little! 38 degrees in certain areas tomorrow! Best wishes, Jennifer
