Oh Wonder
Rivers flow daring imagination
time turns down within the whispers
falling way to misguided interpretation
oh wonder, what have I found
Desire deep sets in amongst the waning
lush virginal forest overgrowth drips
shallow breaths penetrate the hunger
curious eyes captured caress the fight
The laid out linen's getting softer
with a thought of you hidden at my side
sounds of the south leaning into the heartache
oh wonder, what's one supposed to do
Tender notes fold the mascara runs
petals plucked one by one
shelter what has to be done
empty arms carry me home
Promises blown into the midnight
oh wonder ...
