There is in the Body of Christ, certain people who will not take responsibility
for working out their own salvation as the Bible states. When they do this,
they are opening up themselves to be deceived. It is imperative for believers
to study the Word of God for themselves and trust the Holy Spirit to teach
them.
“Oh, Now, What Wind Was That”?
As soon as I was born again
the battle had begun,
the devil’s plan to deceive, steal and rob from me
the way God would have me to run.
You see, he doesn’t do this totally out in the open
but he twists and turns to suit himself the precious Word of God,
and tries to put His church to sleep and, as you can see,
many of their heads are seen to nod and nod.
Why, they hear this “wind” and that one
which brings a sweet tickling to their ears,
and now they run to and fro wanting to hear
more of that “wind” and begin to listen only to their peers.
They forgot about their first love and His Word
written as a love letter to them,
for it was meant to guide, deliver, feed, and correct
as they walk this world they now forget where they had been.
One “wind” says, that they can live as they choose
yet still be in Heaven with Him,
but refusing to study His Word to find for themselves the truth
and where they will spend all eternity depends.
Yet another “wind” has set itself against the
precious power of the Holy Ghost,
saying blasphemous things about Him and His working of miracles
and knowing some now can’t be forgiven for this makes me tremble the most.
You see no one can walk our walk for us
as the Bible tells us to work out our own salvation with trembling and fear,
by trusting and leaning on Him as the only way
which brings the presence of our Savior Who then will wipe away all our tears.
