That was one heck of a mucky day for Santa...lol

The stars and the moon...glowing bright Poor Santa...had lost his eyesight Had a bit of bad luck When he stepped into muck Before, he took off...at midnight The outhouse door...swinging ajar His glasses, left home...on the bar So, the reindeer won't sleigh Because, he smells...that way So Santa, drove home...in his car Christmas Limerick (new or old) Poetry Contest Sponsored by Carolyn Devonshire Syllable count (88668) - (88668)

G'day Charles … not too many have seen Santa's footprints, and not too many have heard him explete bad language either. For those who have - Santa stinks - thanks Charles - Lindsay

I could tell this limerick was inspired by the contest photo and it's awesome, Charlie. Congratulations on a second-place win. Competition for this contest was amazing and yours was among the poems that stood out as outrageously humorous. Thanks for the laughs - Carolyn
