With troubled heart each day I live
and to your ear my cry I give.
Bestow your loving grace on me.
O God, my Father, Hear my plea!
Forty years of wilderness land
is all I’ve come to understand.
Now for your promised place to see.
O God, my Father, Hear my plea!
My dreams rest on the Book of Faith.
Show them favor for mercy’s sake.
Let all these hopes soon come to be.
O God, my Father, Hear my plea!
Upon my back there is a cross
a signature of all the loss.
Yet in your love is victory.
O God, my Father, Hear my plea!
