What is infinity? Perhaps, we ask-
since measures with no ends go quite against
the norm we know of starts and stops- their task
to drive things to begin and finish, sensed.
We know for sure all phases of earth's reign
adhere to programmed rules we can accept.
All intervals engage in wax and wane;
a season ends- and into next, we're swept.
We look up to the sky, beyond the stars;
perhaps from there, sprawls out infinity.
Of this, we have no vision that is ours;
some, grasp this force as pure Divinity.
This Force behind all forces- has no end
how else, this concept, can we comprehend?
