Ode to the Hunter's Grace

O, noble eagle, king of boundless skies, Whose piercing gaze the sun itself defies, A feathered arrow, launched on currents strong, Where mountain peaks your ancient anthems throng. From craggy cliffs, a monarch you survey, The winding rivers where the wild things play, The vast expanse, a tapestry unfurled, Your kingdom claimed, the master of the world. With wings outstretched, a shadow on the land, You dance with winds at nature's own command, A silent hunter, swift and ever keen, Your talons grasp, a vision rarely seen. No cage can hold your spirit, wild and free, No earthly bounds can match your majesty, A symbol soaring of a strength untold, A heart of freedom, brave and fiercely bold. O, eagle, spirit of the heights above, A timeless emblem of unceasing love, For open spaces, for the untamed grace, We sing your praises, in this hallowed place. ©bfa031125
