Ode To My Endorphins

I was left delirious, By a lady with garlands in her hair. Her smile was as bright as Sirius, Her golden locks flowed everywhere. I thought it an impossible endeavor. I thought it too hard to bear, To live a life where I never Had the lady with garlands in her hair. So I pursued her through field and heather. I ran from here to there, In the hopes that I would see her: This lady with golden hair. But it was completely unknown to me. I was in no way aware. That her smile had lost its vibrancy, And the garlands had wilted in her hair. And if it wasn’t for my pituitary, Urging me to give chase. I would have been wary Of The hideousness of her face.
