Ode to a black cat
"Oh,my dear black cat", You are darker than the midnight, Your growl frighten the fruit bat, . And your eyes are as bright as the light. Like a bat, you have protruding ear, Your sharp claws catch your prey, And your hidden attack causes fear, You are not seen much during the day. You are active at dawn and dusk, And you sleep very well all day, Your family gives us a scented musk, And you make our home a place to stay. You need a smaller space to hide, Sometimes you make a strange chirping sound, You spend more time in grooming like a bride , And you are often found near the fishing ground. You reduce our feelings of loneliness, And your purr can calm our nervous system, Your cleanliness brings us holiness, And you are an excellent companion of wisdom.
