Fall’s finally here, leaves drift from the trees
but harvest time’s caught me on the hop
I need to gather my giant pumpkin crop
as gold asters dance on the chilly breeze
Juicy blackberries ripe ready for picking
I just adore the bounteous garden fare
I’ll make sure my neighbors get a share…
My fruit filled pies are always finger licking!
Bright pumpkin lanterns light up the street
Halloween costumes can be so very scary
Of ‘ghosts and ghouls' I am quite wary
I’ll give candy because it’s trick or treat
