Fall’s finally here, leaves drift from the trees but harvest time’s caught me on the hop I need to gather my giant pumpkin crop as gold asters dance on the chilly breeze Juicy blackberries ripe ready for picking I just adore the bounteous garden fare I’ll make sure my neighbors get a share… My fruit filled pies are always finger licking! Bright pumpkin lanterns light up the street Halloween costumes can be so very scary Of ‘ghosts and ghouls' I am quite wary I’ll give candy because it’s trick or treat n/a in October Poetry Contest judged on 10/8/2020 Sponsored by Regina McIntosh 10/06/20

this is a very happy October poem. I would say gay poem, but now that word has lost its old world charm. WELL DONE, my friend.

A spoonful of berries would work wonders with this poem, so full of Autumn's vistas. Best or a win. ~~
