Obsession's Redemption

Hear my confession... You're my obsession My intention? Without exception it's only this... full possession of you It is beyond comprehension my body-soul expression, so..throw away discretion Don't ever question my consuming need... for you Desire's onward progression demands your concession Oh, dare I now mention... what waits... For you You... you...you Ah...there's no suppression of my lips intercession, every heartbeat a transgression of norms or conventions Only this... only this... You My passion's redemption is only YOU! Eileen Manassian

Obsessions are understandable, unless they get out of control. A writer has poetic license (I have made use of it), though one must not abuse of it. I love this emotional poem, Eileen, and I agree with what you wrote down below "Don't read into them more than the author reveals." ~ Hugs and have a lovely weekend my friend. // paul

This is cool. But have you ever seen the series called YOU on Netflix? That kind of obsession is very dangerous. I am happy if this is a two way street true story obsession between you and hubbie

Yes. I know of the series but haven't watched it. Also, perhaps Fatal Attraction? In the arts we have license, right? Dear... poems have a life of their own... their own reality. Don't read into them more than the author reveals.

Felt like I was on a Greek ship and the rock walls were falling on my ship driven there by a siren's call...
