O' Rain

As I was coming down the hollows Mix in the hills and valley ways I stood under a tree Oh, rain As the clouds began to spray Those birds nesting Speaking ever so violently Oh, rain Away human, go away This is our homage glee Drips and drops freshly air is cleaned Oh, rain Soaking wet my garments Spring showers display The leaves bending Grass wetting As I am amaze it’s the coldest bath/shower I’ve ever been in For Nature Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Regina McIntosh Free verse poetry form only. 5/10/21-2021©
