~O’ GLORY MY GOD’S SWEET NAILS-SWEET TREE JESUS HAD TO ENDURE TOOK ON MY SINS SO HE DIED UPON A TREE Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Nothing but… Jesus, Jesus, Jesus He died for us Because He’s in love with us It’s in God whom we trust Liturgy sings: Sweet nails, sweet tree where life begins He’s Lord is firmly nailed to the cross; He had waited for this for many years; And this day He is to fulfil His desire On the 3:00pm hour; To redeem all men ... What had been an instrument of infamy and dishonor, Was converted into the tree of life; And, and the stairway of glory; Instilling God’s Salvations story; A deep joy fills Him Our Lord; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Nothing but… Jesus, Jesus, Jesus He died for us Because He’s in love with us It’s in God whom we trust As He extends his arms on the cross, for all those sinners who whom are lost; He saw that He saw this He saw – and this filled Him with joy – How the cross was to be loved and to be adored; Jesus will welcome us all with open arms... He saw the witnessing saints who for love and in defense of the truth He’s are redeemer; He came to save the lost That is WHY He laid down His life; That moment on the cross; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus Nothing but… Jesus, Jesus, Jesus He died for us Because He’s in love with us It’s in God whom we trust Liturgy sings: Sweet nails, sweet tree where life begins Hallehjah Halehjah Halehjah Lord Jesus thank you saving me Jesus thank you for dying in my place Now I am freed, I’m your child sinner saved by grace Placed now in the righteousness Sweet nails, Sweet tree where life begins 11/14/22 Written words by James Edward Lee Sr. 2022©
