Nudity

I want to hide my eyes Lets play peek a boo I want to hide every part of me But am walking like I do, when the kids are not at home In my birthday suit I, the secretive being, cannot hide For my words narrate my life from my history To my current ingredients and spices *Written now* If I dint write, I'd be a like a big ball of explosives ready to explode and burst *Written Dec 2014* Am a very private person but with writing, I feel naked to the world. I feel like am undressing my clothes one by one, leaving nothing for the imagination. Nothing of the imagination of the life I work so hard to hide *Written last year*

Nice write. I have a saying that writing (especially poetry and songwriting) is like unzipping your soul in front of everyone, exposed to everyone's thoughts, whims and quips, probably the scariest thing one can do..but so exhilarating at the same time...

To write in public is to be very brave. it's to put it all out there for everyone to see and judge. There are days I'd rather walk around a house of mirrors naked. LOL Hugs ~jan
