Nothing Remains the Same
Nothing endures for eternity
not one thing remains the same
not youth,
not beauty,
not life
nor what I want to happen!
I stick at pace with each procession
I do my role in each scene
and fervently wish and pray
whatever the case may be
I won't surrender to yesterday's downfall...
it isn't dying that makes us feel sad
It's living that pains us the most
