Listening to oldies I fell asleep late And dreamt I was back in 1958 Jobs were denied due to race Women all knew their place I awoke to recall things weren't all that great! 10/28/22

In 1958, I was stationed in Bingen am Rhein where things were REALLY great, especially across the river in Rüdesheim am Rhein, where busty Fräuleins were in a party mood, and African American males were considered a treat. Moral: if you can't change life as you know it, move! Aloha!

Many moved. James Baldwin and Josephine Baker, moved to France, to find life a lot easier. Thank you for your service, Auf Wiedersehen!

Nice reminder, Robert. Just think what they're going to say about us! Elizabeth

Present and future generations need to know their history, the good and the ugly, it explains so much what's happening in the now. Robert

You said it beautifully, Robert. I've seen many documentaries, just saw "Till" a must see! Love the image as well, good pick!
