Christopher a few different ways to look at this one, if serving life imprisoned in solitary confinement, with no chance of freedom I would say life is not worth living, but as a free person with a future however bleak it may seem, life can still hold possibility, so in that sense must be worthwhile, cheers David

True so long as there is an outside possibly however slight . Hope may still exist
