Not My Intent

I realize that I have hurt you. Please know it was not my intent. But what we sometimes do. May have lasting effects we never meant. Although you may not believe me. At least listen to what I have to say. I was insensitive, I did not foresee. That what I did, could turn out this way. I apologize for ever hurting you. But I feel I need to convey more. You know the words I speak are true The sorrow I feel, I have never felt before. Look into my eyes, into my heart. If you do that, perhaps you can see. The regret that I feel has become part, of who I am now, and who I will be.
