Yep...one can definitely say that they were Peter, Paul, and Mary:) God bless them. My wife loved the group though I was more into jazz.

Yeah, I liked them a lot too; though I liked jazz as well... Not too much music that I don't like --- other than heavy metal and pure noise. :) gw

You are so right, Jennifer. People forget just how wild that era was. I think that the teens of the 60's were the most sexually active generation ever America... In the year I graduated high school, 1968, over 90% of males 18 years old claimed to have already had sexual intercourse, according to one survey I remember. (Guess who was in the other 10%?). I remember when we air-brushed the lives of stars... Not anymore. 'Thanks' to Oprah and others of her 'tell-all' ilk, everyone's dirty linens are aired in public... Oh, well. :) gw

I am smirking and smiling. I was so young, I had no idea of the "surprising sexual proclivities", but I loved all of the folk songs and the folk singers!
