Mind softened, watching fusions of saffron strips merge with scarlet hues, elegantly charming halcyon horizons. My Homeless heart craved a romantic dawn, so I became a pilgrim of love. Venturing upon an uncharted path, in search for the princess of my petals, which led me to an unknown province. The masses mistook me for a poet, but all I had were my simple musings. In a bid to connect with her heart, I scribbled till my fingers became numb, composing lyrics of love and limerence. I saw beyond her pretend smile, hoping to keep her warm like my winter coat, feeling her perfumed persona beside me. Her image was reminder of God's beautiful art. Overmastered by her majestic heavenly vision, I pondered if it was all a dream... Her heart was a rusty diamond, so I polished it until it reflected like a mirror. Creating a masterpiece of serenity, to achieve an eternal state of tranquillity. But her sparkle brought many an antagonist, who terrorised the ink that bonded our magnetic field. All that remained were blank expressions. Now enchanting memories haunt, her silhouette is just a ghost. I'll never forget the passion in her eyes, nor from the tingle of the first taste of our lips, but as violet hints tinted horizons, twilight arrived like a distasteful traitor, dominating the skies with shades of blackness.  Night flowers seemed so sorrowful, secretive stars remained silent, as I trudged back in slow motion, upon a poisoned path of petals. Now a pilgrim of melancholic melodies, my heart is like a weeping guitar, strumming an anthology of sad musings. The sun no longer casts her shadow, she was just a rainbow, in my now lonely sky. Crumbling like a cascade of sandcastle emotions. I no longer yearn for a beloved. Our story became another parody of Romeo and Juliet, because some dreams never come true.

Night flowers seemed so sorrowful...thus even sorrow becomes beauty in your mind as you drain the imagery onto paper.
