Society says a man should show shame
to be in touch with his feminine side.
And when life’s failures seek someone to blame,
men blame men who feel compassion inside.
Jesus was a man not afraid to cry,
or show the humanity in His heart.
But Eve’s apple branded women with its lie
subjugating them to man from the start.
Men see themselves as guardians of hope
fearless and superior in their ways.
And women were forced to learn how to cope,
when Man's brutality bloodied their days.
Men feel men must be tough and aggressive,
condemning all who dare be expressive.
