Nostalgia

temple-bells chimed bliss 
                              waves lapped on amber shore
                                  building sand castles
                             with rollicking hands luscious
                               memories engraved in soul

                                    strolling at sublime 
                            dawn dewdrops on lotus leaves
                                     mother collecting
                               scented jasmine in basket
                                   offering prayer serene

In my childhood I picked Jasmine from the garden-floor to make garlands - can never erase the picture! In my home-language, “Mala” is garland. Love ~ Mala
