Nomad's Tredge
Cinnamon skies erupt a new day
to wash along with yesterday's grey
Held fast and steady drifting away
midnight dreams of rescue
staring desperation bleeds
whispers seeping out the seams
slivers of relics
insomnia screams
Suicidal thoughts of battles waged
Setting free from feelings raged
dear departed past
casket's motor on by
seeking answers
foolish question why
Dogs howl searching out a home
Nomads tredge in silence now roam
