No Reply

I know you wanted to make me cry. I didn't stop till my tears ran dry. I couldn't help but wonder why. I asked knowing that you would lie. Did you ever think to even try? To be an upstanding kind of guy? But all you did was give a heavy sigh. And then you walked away, with no reply. I knew I could no longer deny. I had to be the one to say goodbye.
