No Regrets
A shattered relationship
after four and a half years
was nice for a while
My father didn't approve
But I decided to continue it
She didn't treat me right
So I ended it
Now back on the open market
as 63
There are plenty of "fish in the ocean"
Not rich - that would help
But I realize that some women like poets
I'll never have the groupies of a rock star
But I do have some close relationships
with poetesses and other babes
No regrets!
As Vic Damone song goes "My Life is Mine"
