NO RED LIGHT DO WE SEE

What reckless joyride we humans are on, For we know not what greets us at the end. With brain-washed minds we need not comprehend. So in ignorance we just speed along. We tell ourselves all’s well so need not care, And forget our millions - now eight thousand. But such numbers we fail to understand. Our faulty ways, we think, need no repair. Now our joyride increases at a pace. A runaway train speeding down the track. Its brakes have failed - can’t stop and can’t go back. At breakneck speed, we're in a crazy race. Ahead, we now approach the last station, Arriving at a place called ‘Extinction’.
