No one to love
the shadow fades
to forever deceive
a child,
a handwritten note on the table, a blood red complexion
a child,
to forever die
No one to love
silent, soulless
may darkness come upon us
a child,
for as the hour draws near, the curtain closes
No one to love
soulless
there is only agony
Yet still
no one to love
May space and time come upon us
an empty jar on the table, a scarlet heart
a second, a minute
no one to love
torn, torn
there is only fear
Why? why those tears
No one to love
