Start ~ by going in reverse despite the notions of value what would one less layer reveal every drop of carefully placed chaos just peeled away leaving a simpler picture to intrigue a mind take it further the lines of enquiry those self questioning interrogations erase their existence study your shape what's left of you consider it carefully do you like it did you need the complexity hover, hold still observe the moment before it all became so elaborate does this strip soul deep are you the very first coat of paint or the last do you occupy the spaces between everything devised by and for you or would you rather throw it away depreciation of a masterpiece is an external point of view let that layer of reality cease and you remove and reinstate whatever you want the meaning of worth is in flux whilst I comprehend the intent of creation I'm moved to disregard it all in an instant call me crazy but I'm currently at ease with taking my chances

This excellent, deep, thought-provoking poems resonates with me~~as one whose thoughts vary from very practical to OVERthinking to just right~~like the porridge Goldilocks ended up with. A heartfelt CONGRATS on your win! Janice

The overthinking comes in useful from time to time. Thank you for the high praise, appreciated

There is a process to it that can make gazing at them more like a film. You just have to trust that they aren't slap dash. Glad you liked my poem :) (I wouldn't hang any of these on my wall, just find them interesting to ponder)

Ah a little bit of craziness is always needed to sane in this weak world dear dd, one of those poems that made me think and reflect on all edges and curves and lines on my canvas, metaphorically and more! A very well written poem that flows so well, and the opening especially just made me dive right in and i would not even start about how youv interpreted the artwork! I see eyes too i think in that art work, its very complex and intriguing! If i stare at it for longer i think i might see more. Congratulations also on your winning placement in brians! Well deserved! I loved this! And felt this!

So kind Ink, thank you :) I used to love sitting looking at abstract art in a gallery attached to a cinema as a child. There is a resonance in a painting just as there is with the way we put words together. Thank you for diving in :)

Why is it Dilly when I read some of your poems they get me thinking of black holes, in this case the (holographic principle) which states everything that ever fell into the black hole is projected as a hologram on the event horizon, that way its information is never destroyed by the singularity, which in turn leads me back to this brilliant poem, (would one less layer reveal every drop of carefully placed chaos) I guess the answer is a resounding yes! (we can let that layer of reality cease and you remove and reinstate whatever you want) just by observing the masterpiece, call me crazy! well that makes two of us at least! makes for great poetry too, cheers David

I'm not sure whether to take a bow or get Jackson Pollack on my psychic hotline and tell him he's onto something :) your interpretation of my poem gave me a spring in my step, thank you :D gosh I sound clever with you translating lol I had actually read an interview with Dean Radin just before writing this about poets connection to the universe when in flow state. Who knows!
