Nirvana
In the wasteland of the scorched deserted life,
chasing mirage and clutching my desiccated desires,
I walk listless on the tormenting trail of strife,
suffering to the core, I’m submerged in sordid mire.
Released from the clasp of the karmic destiny,
I try to transcend the expanding limits of time and space,
from the closet of mortal being I strive to set my soul free,
the patina of perpetual peace I yearn to embrace.
I’ll see the pristine petals of my soul slowly unfold,
bloom the divine lotus of essence, I’ll discern.
The beauty of the surreal horizon I’ll then behold,
where I’ll merge with the supreme, never to return.
In the sanctum of serenity of the seamless sky,
like the bird soaring free, not going back to old nest again,
on the wings of eternal bliss my unbound soul will fly,
on the flight to eternity the euphoria of nirvana I’ll attain.
