Nineseventeen Pm
Nineseventeen PM
Evening mingling with night
Eyes of light from the tears of night
Stars call from the sky
Listening earth collects the sounds
For the struggle of the boats
In the rise and fall
of the tall struggle
Nineseventeen PM
The moon wanders across
my thoughts
Playing with the fireflies
near the hospital
In their deep breath
Colours still wait
in the eyes of the beds
Nineseventeen PM
The night takes away hours from the clock
The water making room for the next water
of the river towards the ocean
The night descends
Filling its buckets with cool water
Balm of its wounds
Nineseventeen PM
I look at them for words
Words of life from the words of death
Lying underneath
From the half-light a bird appears
Innocent tender and restless
My words change its focus again
