Nightmare
When we locked eyes I was taken aback,
because you often visited my dreams.
Your scent almost gave me heart a attack,
I readjust, nothing is what it seems.
Suddenly you took me by total surprise,
by brushing my face with your fingertips.
It felt better than viewing a lovely sunrise,
next you placed a soft kiss on parted lips.
Darling, you brought desire from the dead
if this is just a dream, I want to be lost.
Your kiss was filled with passion, enough said,
I don't want this to end at any cost.
You're fading and that's something I can't bare
This wasn't a sweet dream it was a nightmare.
