Nightfall

Night falls quietly, swallowing the questions With simply no more need, to know why Hard lessons learned are surely enough With certain things, the door does fasten I have faith with all things that are tough This is all I need, in the depth of darkness To walk and to find my way, as I always do The morning will arrive, burdens much less Always, in a new day with all that is true Always, with the happy flowers opening up wide Along with all the people, who understand me Friends in all these years, who stand by my side Heidi Sands 7/28/17
