News That's Gone Astray
The News has shown us only bad;
never what is good.
Their people saying who they hate
never what they should.
Ignoring what the people do
to criticize their faults.
Diverting all their stories
to the one's that anger salts.
And hoping we believe
that our good has gone away.
When it's true what we have left
is the News that's gone astray.
