To say goodbye to a beloved pet brings grief,
these sweet souls give us so much and want just love.
Oh, death comes creeping and takes- and takes like a thief,
and our hears are broken with thoughts of nevermore;
FOREVER, our hearts will look to that distant shore.
Oh, be still dear shattered one, your pet is up A B O V E .
When my beloved cat died my heart was split in two.
Oh, nevermore would I feel his paw on my cheek,
I walked home weeping and grasping his collar of blue.
Oh, my shattered one, let happy memories fill your day;
the PRICE of love is high and each of us must pay.
One day- a pet soul will again into your heart S N E A K .
