Never Meant To Be

What cruel karma Could have allowed That you suffer one Abandonment after another Life was always a battle Fierce growling mad Although you treasured it You once sat at the feast of love To which not everyone Is so lucky to be a guest Like a fantasy like a dream You were the prince I was the princess We lived the dream We shared and It was wonderful While it lasted Only when it was over The memory always haunted you As it haunts you now In livid colour bold and big Bigger than life What cruel karma Prevents you from Finding peace in this lifetime AP: 3rd place 2020 Posted on November 13, 2017
