Never Let the Pen Die

Writers take breaks and sometimes get blocked --- But never let the pen die --- Let the words splash on the paper to be read Because you never know who may come to see Not everyone will like it, because we are all different But, we can write through the pain, tears and dreams We can write through the smiles, laughter and sights When we choose, we can write through almost anything We can show what we see, hear and experience We can reveal wise lessons learned in our journey In the end, writing helps us live and be all we can be --- You never know where it will lead --- --- If you never let the pen die --- Heidi Sands 7/22/17
