Notes About The Poem

St Peter says user name and password don'r match

- Never Forget a Number -

On Tuesday night, Nick died quietly at home in his bed
He left a grieving wife and their two adult children
After a long and indescribable journey he reached his goal
He was well received by St. Peter
"A simple question before you can go through the gate, said St. Peter
to enter the kingdom of heaven,
I must have your username and password "
Nick always had trouble remembering numbers
He tried with his own name and date of birth
"Sorry, that's wrong," St. Peter answered
His wife's name and their street number ... he had to try it
"No, it does not fit," St. Peter shakes his head
and said, "you only have three chances ... your last try"
Nick started to sweat ...
Date of birth to the children - (he did not remember)
Bank code ?
Car number ?
Door code ?
mia 2045 - ... pia 7822 ... - happiness 5090
cat ... 4456 - ... sun 1087 ... - stone 5344 ... ? ? ?
Nick, was completely empty for more suggestions
"Dear St. Peter, please call my wife
she always remember a number "
St. Peter :
"Sorry my friend ... goodbye"

Sadly, I remember my phone number from when I was five years old better than I remember my work identification number. My parents drilled their phone number into my head just like my sister now drills my niece and nephews on their numbers to get lunch at school. As you can probably tell, this resonated with me!

Loved it, Hilarious, like recently, when I went to the bank and couldn't remember my 4-digit code for the life of me, or was that at Meijer's? Age is the enemy of the brain.
