Life is for the living
giving it our best

and sometimes less is
better: a mouthful, a
tree not fell, an extra 
wife/husband

but hearts should give
their all, never doubting
tributaries of love

though often ponds on earth

are oceans up above

"hearts should give their all'...... It is what makes life on earth a heavenly experience. Love your poem from start to finish. Yes, life is for the living. As far as we are alive, let us enjoy life and make others'life enjoyable.

What a beautiful poem on love, hubby and i both had an unhappy marriage but should have got married when we were going out together in our twenties, but God is good he thought it best to finally bring these two love lorn for one another adults together 25 Years later, and how happy we are, 22 years married and counting. It was meant that we be together, Hugs and blessings, JENNIFER. i nearly kicked the bucket a week ago wrote a poem.

I know Rose; been there more times than I like to admit. Wish I knew then what I know know. I hold no grudges. I am certain that I am not the only one with regrets. I wish everyone happiness. Enough opportunity forward that no one look back.
