I’ve aged. I’ve learned. I’ve grown.
Nothing in life has taught me more
Than the mistakes I’ve made
And the failures I’ve had to embrace
As a part of my life, a part of my story
I’ve aged. I’ve learned. I’ve grown.
This life has taught me to carry on
In spite of the pains and the sorrows
That might try to destroy all my tomorrows.
I’ve aged. I’ve learned. I’ve grown.
Nothing in life has left me without hope
For the beauty of a second chance
The brilliance of God’s mystical light
Flowing across my heart and soul
I’ve aged. I’ve learned. I’ve grown.
This life has left me with renewed faith
Assurance of the power in amazing grace
A love that delivers me from fear and angst
I’ve aged. I’ve learned. I’ve grown.
I’m so thankful that despite all the wrong
There is laughter, music and prayer
Feelings so giving and thanks for God’s Son
Who filled our hearts with His Spirit
I’ve aged. I’ve learned. I’ve grown.
And nothing is more assured than the love
That brings me to the cross at calvary
Where real love shed His blood for me!
I’ve aged. I’ve learned. I’ve grown.
Yesterday, today, tomorrow… eternally
I will always praise Him for what He’s done
Saving my soul is beyond my wildest dream
His love is more fulfilling than I can imagine.
His love is the strength that heals and lasts
Through the struggles and strife of this life
Through sadness, discouragement and grief
Through every moment of despair and regret
Throughout eternity – forever and ever!
I’ve aged. I’ve learned. I’ve grown.
Because of Jesus, I am not alone!
