NEGATIVES - POTD

Sometimes you need to step back
Even walk away
Good things always come to an end
So they say ….

When negatives enter your life
That do not bring you joy
Step back , distance yourself
Before your soul it destroys

Perhaps take time to revaluate
Refresh, clear your mind
For life is too short for negatives
So to yourself be kind

Absolutely! My high school diary was too negative but it taught me to write positive things. If I have a need to rant then I destroy it afterwards. Step back, see it’s not all bad, look up and see what is good. Congratulations on POTD, Deb!

Dear Deb, a negative outlook that remains constant, is like *wallowing* in mud, in hopes you won't get dirty. Staying focused on the negative, trains your brain that it's okay. It's so easy to look beyond the negative and surround yourself in the positive moments, along with the many blessings. (It is for me, anyway). Congratulations my dear friend, on Poem of the Day.
