Nectar-Iii

Nectar On what breasts I have laid my head And where and why I remember not. On what waists have I laid my hands Feeling the spring tide bosoms and Lips were too near not to be missed To get the feel of the rose petals. Upon my couch I lay as lie the dead, Many loves have come and gone. No images return on this stormy time. The wind sings in my foliage, The rain taps & sighs on the windowsills. I have forgotten all of them but one. In my heart there stirs a sweet pain When I remember my sweet Nectar On this day of Thirtieth September When she came to me as virgin fresh We made love till the early hours of the morn Hearing the distant drums of a ritual dance.

Your first poem entered and it was very romantically beautiful, what impresses me is you remembered the date, she came to you... love constance
