Nature's Teaching

The thick forest spreads its lush cover wide The land is drenched, the desert stops to run Imbibed in nature, it doesn’t take pride Born to give shade even if the sun burns. The clouds float freely in the open sky Winds flow from the sea, they collect moisture To quench the thirst of the living, they try Make the rain even if they disappear. In green valley colors splash on the spring In as many hues the plants could gather The flowers spread on the butterfly wing Fragrance in air even if they wither. The light of life we get as God’s dear gift Shines bright if gloom from minds it tries to lift. October 18, 2017.
