Natural Things
I turn my eyes heavenward and see the sun, moon,
drifting clouds and birds on the wing.
and think of the wonders of natural things....
I stand in the surf and gaze at the mysterious sea,
hear the gulls, see the spout, hear the surf sing
and think of the wonders of natural things...
On the mountain top I pause to reflect on the valley,
the forest, the stag, the fox, the freshening spring.
and think of the wonders of natural things....
Naked and in supplication we come to thee
Oh Nature, humbly our lives to you we bring
For you are the wonder of all natural things....
For the Nature Contest...
