N A

The various contests inspire me to write, After writer's block the previous night. However, most of the time, I get a NA, I used to get bummed out; now it's ok. You can't win them all, have a strong chin, The fact I'm still writing is a win, win. A winning entry comes in various forms, Was I true? And stepped outside the norms? I said that all to say that a NA is a win in disguise But you can't see it with your physical eyes. Alexis Y. 07/13/2021

Join the club. My N/A's pile up in a heap of letdown. Good for you that you don't let it get to you. As for me, it kind of discourages me from entering too many contests... Oh, well. :) gw

It used to hurt me a lot more but now I just think of it as a prompt to write something new and give my muse a kick in the butt! Poetry is all subjective so what matters (I think) is if YOU like it!

Alexis I have SO many n/a but no one sees them as people dont always know you entered a contest, keep the ink flowing i use the contests to inspire me, a win is a bonus - I've had poems get POTD and get n/a all down to the sponsor's choice on the day:-) hugs jan xx

I would never give any importance to any NA. Most of the time your poems are better but there are friends and friends. Keep it up. Hugs.
