My Words Are My Keeper
He said, I wouldn’t make it…
Because I care too much about people
I wondered, how that could be true
Until doubts filtered through the blinds
I almost drowned in pain watching them harmed
But, with faith I kept on swimming in the torrents
I have survived and here I am to speak
- My words are my keeper -
- His silence is his enemy -
