My Words

By Dana Redricks November 23, 2019 Although Maya Angelou is gone she's not forgotten. She has been a real inspiration to me. I'll never forget what she told me as long as enjoy what write that's all that matters. It's good to inspire others. It's good to reach them with your words, but to enjoy what you do is something that makes your job, your hobbies, or whatever you do worth while. Keep living, keep smiling even on days you feel like dying. Writing for me has a way of release, and a form of escape. If by chance I inspire someone along the way then my words will leave a legacy.
