greater than last year I feel deeper solitude my winter twilight

Sigh, I've been feeling the same this year, it's like darkness is creeping up over the horizons.. I can deeply resonate with these soul stirring words, my dear Sara. I'm sorry you've been feeling this way, too. This haiku hits in a very poignant and heart - touching way as its depth speaks of enormous emotions. I love how you've written 'winter twilight'.. Twilight is one of my fav words and you've used it so well here.. Sending you so much love, peace, light and healing ~

thank you, sweet Hiya for your visit. I'm grateful you share some of the similar feelings I felt yesterday...just temporary, end-of-the-year blues. Twilight is my favorite time of the day as well. Oh sweet sara, im so sorry you feel solitude more than ever this year, i think i feel the same this year, end of the year blues seems stronger this year than last. And i understand and feel this haiku so strongly, i love the way you’ve expressed here in few syllables , your deepest emotions in such a poignant manner. “ my winter twilight” brilliant last line to your haiku too. Which can also have a deeper meaning, sending you light always, hope christmas went well for you and bill.

I'm grateful knowing I'm not alone in my 'end-of-the-year' blues...it's temporary...the let down after weeks of holiday activities....ready for a new year filled with hope and new beginning...hope you had a delightful Christmas.
