My Truths

It took a fairly long time finally, my better thoughts began to take hold. After years of teaching, I came to an insightful truth. It is okay to admit that your actions were wrong. Then after more years, I learned it is okay to share your mistakes with your students. When parents want to challenge you, it’s okay to talk. When fellow teachers call you to task on an issue, admit any errors you’ve made, any mistaken words. It is not okay to stay wrong. Then what should be done to rectify those bad choices? As a Christian, who represents a holy God among unbelievers, two more truths: ask for forgiveness; and pray that God will grant you wisdom.

I agree Reason, it's so hard to admit mistakes, but it's OK, and I think, students can respect it. It makes you human.

Yes, forgiveness necessitates true repentance. Admitting we make mistakes shows humility. I like it!
