My Thoughts for Today

Though confined in a moody fervor,
I’ll embrace this days challenges,
Remaining undaunted by any task;
Thoughts of the future,
That previously crept unconstrained across my mind,
Now appear shackled to my past.
Though current health issues own my days,
I continue feeling, God, has blessed,
And I’ll always be found,
Thanking HIM as I endeavor to cope.
It becomes progressively easier to cope,
When holding fast your vision, of eternal hope;
