My Spiritual Journey
I’ve travelled long from ages so far~
Met people from north to south
From east to west ;
I’ve tasted the bitterness of failures
and the sweetness of success,
From my youth, I stood straight~
The young and old applauded me;
But no sweeter I could see
Than the smile of the poorest face I see
as they join me in singing hymns to God Almighty.
Yes, I will never cease to sing~
In gratitude...In praises...
For the journey is never easy;
The bends and the curves~
reminding me to stop and pause.
Feel the presence of His greatness~
In everything that breathes life
In the kiss of the morning sun,
In the fragrance of a blossoming bud,
In the touch of the dainty drops of snow,
In the shoulder tap of a friend,
In the hug of a happy child,
In the smile of a wrinkled face
And the touch of a coarse hand
that never cease to worship God.
